30A LAcrosse news you can use - 12 August 2019
Good Evening 30A,

Yesterdays shoot around was great!  It may have been the most players we have ever had at a shoot around.  I was very excited by the amount of new players we had out on the field.  I appreciate everyone coming out and enjoying a hot August Panhandle afternoon.

SHOOT AROUNDS:
This Coming Sunday we will have another shoot around.  Remember they are free, so invite your friends to come out and try the fastest game on two feet.  We are going to change the time a bit though.  Instead of 2 hours in this heat, we are going to cut back to 1.5 hours.  Shoot Around Schedule:

August 18 - 4 - 5:30pm
August 25 - 4 - 5:30pm

If the shoot arounds keep going well, then we may do a couple in September.

FALL REGISTRATION:
There is only a month left for Fall registration.  If you have not registered yet, time is running out!  The season will start on October 13th.  Registration closes on September 12th.  Don't wait until the last minute... be sure to get in before the late registration fees hit in early September.

As of tonight, we have 48 girls registered and 46 boys.  This will be the first time ever in 30A Lacrosse history that the girls outnumber the boys in registrations.  I'm simply amazed at the growth of the girls sport.

I did notice a lot of regular names from both boys and girls have not registered yet.

PANAMA CITY SPORTS PARK GRAND OPENING:
The Panama City Sports Park opening was moved to October 5th (Saturday).  This event is meant to be a attract new lacrosse players to the sport.  We plan to have some demonstrations and drill stations for old and new players.  The Sports park will have a lot going on that day.  I would love to see a bunch of 30A Lacrosse players show up at this event in force.  Remember, if you plan to show, you need to wear some sort of 30A Lacrosse gear.

30A LACROSSE GEAR:
Right now we are working on the 30A gear for the fall.  All gear will go on sale the end of September so you can have it in time for the beginning of the season.  A flyer will be released once all design and planning is complete.

I hope you all are settling back into school and enjoying your week.

See you on the field this Sunday.

30A New You can Use - 8 August 2019

Good Evening 30A,

I have been a traveling man this last month with multiple trip to Colorado and Alabama... man am I glad to be home.  It's always good to come back and enjoy a hot steamy August.  I love this area - we are truly blessed to live here.

School is about to be back in session, and to celebrate, we are going to start our Sunday Shoot Arounds.  For the next three Sundays, we will meet at the Boys and Girls club of South Walton.

SHOOT AROUND SCHEDULE:
August 11th - 4pm to 6pm
August 18th - 4pm to 6pm
August 25th - 4pm to 6pm

Boys and Girls of all ages and experience levels are invited.  We will drag the goals out, do some passing and catching, do some shooting, and just have some fun.  Many of the coaches will be on site to provide a bit of instruction.

Our Shoot Arounds are Free!!

FALL REGISTRATION:
Fall Ball Registration is still open, but the price goes up $10/ player on the 12th of August.  Registration ends all together on the 5th of September.  So if you have multiple kids to register and want to save some money, don't wait much longer.

Right now, we are nearly dead even in girls and boys registrations.  The girls are REALLY REPRESENTING this year.  In years past, this club has been mostly boys, but this year, things look like they are going to change!  Good job girls!  Way to represent the 30A Lacrosse club!  Let's keep up the momentum and have a great showing at the Destin Surf-n-Turf Tournament this year.

See you all this Sunday at the shoot around.
